With the school season underway, it is crucial to consider strategies to protect our children from the increased risk of respiratory infections that often accompany this time of year. Factors such as poorly ventilated classrooms and crowded public transportation can contribute to the spread of illness, making it crucial to take proactive measures to keep our children healthy.

Here are some simple yet effective ways to help safeguard our children from respiratory infections:

  • Frequent Hand Washing: Encourage regular handwashing to minimize the spread of germs.
  • Mask Usage in Crowded Places: In crowded environments like public transportation or busy classrooms, wearing masks can provide an extra layer of protection.
  • Healthy Nutrition: Ensure your child maintains a balanced diet rich in vitamins and nutrients to support their immune system.
  • Adequate Sleep: Make sure your child gets enough restorative sleep each night to keep their immune system functioning optimally.
  • Regular Ventilation of Closed Spaces: Properly ventilate indoor spaces to reduce the concentration of airborne pathogens.
  • Natural Immune Boosters: Incorporate natural immune-boosting supplements like propolis and royal jelly into your child’s routine.

Propolis is a natural resin produced by bees, boasts powerful antiviral, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties. It is often used by bees to sterilize their hives and has been shown to support the immune system in humans as well. Propolis, when properly extracted and expertly processed into droplet form, guarantees standardized levels of beneficial compounds, ensuring maximum effectiveness and potency.

Royal Jelly, which is a nutrient-rich substance produced by worker bees to feed  the queen bees and larvae, offers several  health benefits. Containing essential vitamins, minerals, and unique compounds like 10-HDA and royalactin, Royal Jelly supports overall health and the immune function. Incorporating Propolis, Royal Jelly and Raw Honey mixtures into your child’s diet can provide a natural boost to their immune system.

In conclusion, by implementing these preventative measures and by incorporating Propolis and Royal Jelly in your children’s diet to strengthen their immune system , we can help protect them from respiratory infections and support their overall well-being.

Here is a scientific study investigating the effects of propolis, royal jelly and raw honey on upper respiratory tract infections:

A double-blind, randomized-controlled scientific study published in The Turkish Journal of Pediatrics in 2020 investigated the effect of propolis and royal jelly on upper respiratory tract infections.

A total of 104 children between the ages of 5-12, suffering from bacterial infections and viral infections, participated in a 10-day scientific study. The participants were divided into four groups:

1. Children with bacterial infections receiving antibiotic treatment

2. Children with bacterial infections receiving bee products and antibiotic treatment

3. Children with viral infections receiving a placebo

4. Children with viral infections receiving bee products supplementation

Children in groups 2 and 4 were treated with a mixture containing 96.7% raw honey, 3% royal jelly, and 0.03% propolis once a day for 10 days. The doses were implemented considering the weight of children; 20 g/day for children under 30 kg and 40 g/day for children over 30 kg. The results were evaluated using the Canadian Acute Respiratory Illness and Flu Scale (CARIFS).

The results revealed that the CARIFS score was significantly lower on the 2nd and 4th days in the group supplemented with bee products and antibiotics compared to the group receiving antibiotics alone.
